A Rush Through the River — The Ayrton Senna Tribute That Rewrote History

Released around the 20th anniversary of Ayrton Senna's death, "A Rush Through the River" is Grandphone Vancouver's tribute to the three-time F1 world champion — but with a twist. Instead of mourning, the music video rewrites history: it reimagines Senna surviving the crash of May 1st, 1994, at Imola, and follows what his life might have looked like since. The concept struck a nerve in Brazil, where Senna's death remains one of the most emotionally significant moments in the country's sporting history, and the video generated substantial conversation and views at the time of release.

Iago's role went well beyond composing — he played on the track, and handled the recording, production, and mix in their entirety. Songwriter Fernando Ventura wrote the song, provided vocals; and Produced. from performance to final mix, was Iago's work.
