National Curator, 6th Paraíba Music Festival
In 2023, Iago was selected as one of three national curators for the 6th Paraíba Music Festival, a state government cultural initiative covered by Rádio Tabajara, Paraíba's official state radio outlet. The role involved blind-judging 159 songs submitted from across the country — no artist names, no context, just the material itself — to determine which entries would move forward in the festival.
Being chosen as a curator for a state-run festival is a different kind of credential than the awards and production credits elsewhere in this list: it's institutional recognition of Iago's judgment, not just his technical or creative output. Someone doesn't get asked to evaluate 159 songs blind unless the people running a government cultural program already trust their ear.
